Made from wood, bamboo and pine cones with a metal mesh frontage, this wooden house will attract a variety of bugs into the garden by offering them a place to nest. As well as this, the front panel features a hollow section which is perfect for butterflies. The top section has wooden blocks which offer a nesting place for a variety of bugs, while the bamboo sections above are ideal for mason bees and lacewings.The house can sit sturdily on the ground - alternatively a metal hanging plate is included if you wish to wall or fence mount the habitat. Measuring 38cm x 22cm x 11cm, the bug house comes assembled and is untreated so could be painted or decorated. Beneficial insects help keep garden pests such as aphids at bay while carrying out vital pollinating services to flowers.
