Large Metal Raised Vegetable Bed in Dark Grey

This stunning metal raised bed is stylish and pleasing to look at as well as being hard-wearing and practical. The sides measure 42cm high so it can be used to create a fantastic growing bed with a depth that is sufficient for most rooted crops such as carrots and potatoes (648-litre capacity). Being dark in colour, it has the advantage of absorbing heat which will help germination in the early spring, and then in the summer, its dark sides will add a pleasant contrast to the colourful plants and flowers growing in and around. It comes complete with all necessary nuts and bolts for assembly, as well as rubber banding for the top to protect from the metal edges. It does take some time to assemble due to the number of nuts and bolts, we recommend that 2 people are on hand and that at least an hour is set aside for this task. Please note: the metal sheets all have a plastic covering that requires removal before assembly. This covering protects the paint during transit and therefore is beneficial to the unit, however it is tricky to remove especially on the corner pieces. Carefully pouring hot water over the plastic covering can help with removing the sheets.
