The Hortiwool Starter Wool Pad is made using only 100% British Wool. A simple single small pad measuring 66cm x 27cm, sized perfectly to fit 2 plant trays. The pad can be utilised in a variety of ways, including pest control against slugs, fleece for frost protection, mulch, capillary matting, to line hanging baskets or as a growing medium. This 100% British wool pad is compostable, biodegradable, a protector and a natural insulator. The pad has many uses in and around the garden. Wrap around your plants for protection from the frost, kneel on it whilst doing your weeding, break it up and pop it around your flowers to protect from slugs, use them on your allotments, the options are endless. Wool's amazing natural properties means that the pad can also be used for extra hydration, nutrition or left out as nesting material for wildlife. 100% Plastic free, UK made & B Corp Certified. Due to our Hortiwool Pads being made from a 100% natural material, from an array of British Sheep and farms, the colour of each fleece may vary. More than 50 shades of sheep!
