The water gently cascades down through the three tiered bowls and into the hidden reservoir through which the water recycles and filters. On the back of the solar panel, you will find a switch to select either Battery, Off or Solar. When switched to Solar mode, your ornate water feature operates only in direct sunlight so, once the sun sets, the fountain will stop flowing. The remote control will not operate in this mode and the indicator lights will not illuminate. The Solar mode is perfect for when you are at home during the day and want to enjoy your fountain with minimum interaction. When switched to Battery, the solar panel will charge the internal battery so that power is stored for when you want to use it. You can operate the fountain using the remote control whilst in this mode, or you can use the push buttons on the back of the solar panel. The solar panel sits externally, allowing you flexibility in where to place your new garden feature. To switch the pump on, press button A on the remote control or On 4H on the back of the solar panel. The pump will switch off automatically after 4 hours to conserve the battery charge. To operate the timer, either press button B on the remote control or 24H Timer on the back of the solar panel. The pump will switch on and operate for 4 hours before switching off. On subsequent days, the pump will switch on automatically at the same time and run for four hours. You can reset the time at which the fountain switches on by turning it off and back on at your desired time. Requiring only a watering can full of water to fill the bowl, make sure you keep your fountain topped up regularly so that your feathered friends have a constant supply to splash in.
