Elastic bungee toggle ties are a type of fastener which are similar to cable ties, but have a plastic toggle at one end and a hook at the other end. They are made of elastic bungee cord that can stretch and contract to fit different sizes and shapes. These are commonly used in the scaffolding industry to tie scaffold sheeting to the scaffold pole structure but can also used in camping to secure tents, tarpaulins, sheets or nets. They will fit through the eyelets of most tarpaulins or netting to a max 20mm diameter. To use them, you simply thread the toggle end through an eyelet, loop around a support and use the hook end to secure to the cord. You can also use them to create loops or hooks by attaching the toggle end to the hook end.
